Instructions

Step 1: Start by setting up in a clean and well-ventilated workspace. Cover your working surface with a plastic sheet or parchment paper to protect it from any spills or drips. Put on your gloves and goggles to ensure your safety throughout the process.

Step 2: Prepare and mix your resin. Follow the instructions on your resin packaging to measure the correct ratio of resin and hardener. Pour the resin into a measuring cup, then add the hardener. Stir the mixture thoroughly for about 2-3 minutes.

Step 3: Pour resin into your silicone mold - ensuring it does not exceed halfway.

Step 4: Embed the gold stars and moons into the clear layer of resin.

Step 5: Wait for the resin to cure.

Step 6: Prepare and mix resin.

Step 7: Now it's time to bring the galaxy to life! Divide the mixed resin into smaller cups or containers, depending on the number of colors you want to use. Add a few drops of pigments or alcohol inks to each cup and mix well. You can experiment with different colors to create a mesmerizing galaxy effect. Don't forget to add some glitter or holographic flakes for extra sparkle!

Step 8: Carefully pour the colored resin into the silicone mold. You can pour one color at a time or create layers for a more dynamic look. Use a stirring stick to swirl the colors together, creating a galaxy-like pattern. Let the resin sit for a few minutes to allow any bubbles to rise to the surface.

Step 9: Use a heat gun or torch to gently pass over the surface of the resin to remove any remaining bubbles. Be careful not to overheat the resin or hold the heat source too close. Once the bubbles are gone, let the charms cure according to the resin manufacturer's instructions. This usually takes around 24-48 hours.

Step 10: After the resin has fully cured, carefully remove the charms from the molds.

Step 11: If needed, sand any rough edges or imperfections.

Step 12: Attach findings to turn your charms.

Now that you've mastered the art of creating galaxy charms with resin, the possibilities are endless. You can experiment with different colors, shapes, and effects to create your own unique designs. Let your imagination soar and create stunning galaxy charms that will leave everyone in awe!
