🍂 Resin Tutorial: Autumn inspired dry shaker key chain

Supplies
For this project you will need the following craft supplies:
- epoxy resin
- shaker silicone mold (with lid)
- mixing cups & sticks
- golden pearl resin pigment
- bronze pearl resin pigment
- holographic gold chunky glitter
- bronze fine glitter
- autumn shades butterfly confetti
- eye screw
- jump ring
- key ring with chain

Instructions
Step 1: Prepare and mix resin as per brand instructions.
Step 2: Pour the clear resin into the lid part of the shaker mold. Fill the mold all the way.
Step 3: Divide the remaining resin into 2 mixing cups.
Step 4: To one mixing cup add golden pearl resin pigment.
Step 5: To the other mixing cup add bronze pearl resin pigment.
Step 6: Mix each cup well for approximately 2-3 minutes, making sure that the pigment is evenly and thoroughly distributed into the resin.
Step 7: Pour the resin mixtures into the base part of the shaker mold.
Step 8: Wait for the resin to completely cure (approximately 24 hours unless otherwise stated in the resin instructions of the brand you are using.
Step 9: Remove the shaker lid from the silicone mold.
Step 10: Remove the shaker base from the silicone mold.
Step 11: Place the shaker inserts into the base part of the shaker.
Step 12: Prepare and mix some resin .
Note: you will only need a small amount to secure the lid to the base.
Step 13: Place small amounts of resin onto the edge of the base part of the shaker. Distribute a thin layer of resin evenly all over the edge.
Note: Do not add too much, otherwise it will spill out when securing the lid.
Step 14: Gently place the lid onto the base. Press gently and evenly on the edges to ensure that the lid is securely placed and to remove any air pockets.
Step 15: Wait for the resin to cure.
Step 16: To turn the shaker into a key chain, drill a hole and add your findings.
Note + Tip: if you prefer to make a liquid shaker, add in the oil after you drill the hole and secure the eye screw with some resin to avoid leakages.
