FAQs

Q: Are all molds food safe?

Q: Do you offer expedited shipping?
A: Yes, expedited shipping is available for some countries. Please contact us before placing your order for more information on availability and costs.

Q: Can I use the molds for commercial purposes?
A: Yes! You are welcome to sell the castings made from my molds as part of your small business. However, please note that selling duplicate molds or creating copies of the molds for resale is not permitted. I appreciate your understanding and support!

Q: Plastic Molds: How do I use molds that are not flat or do not stay even?
A: Ensuring molds are level before pouring resin or other materials is crucial for achieving a flat and even backing. Uneven molds can lead to difficult removal and inconsistent results.
To level molds, place them on a bowl of rice for support before use. This method helps stabilize the mold for better results.

Q: Tips to remove pieces from molds

  1. Always make sure that you fill the mold to the top. This will make it easier to get your pieces out. If you fill the mold part way, pieces will be very hard to get out.
  2. Once your pieces are fully cured and before starting to get your pieces out, try and get as much air as you can in between your mold and your pieces. You can easily do this by gently twisting the mold, holding the mold from the corners at opposite vertical points.
  3. Push out your pieces by pressing from the deepest part of the mold.
