Instructions
Step 1: Prepare some epoxy resin as per manufacturer's instructions.
Step 2: Add teal alcohol ink and maya blue pearlescent resin pigment to the resin.
Step 3: Mix well making sure to thoroughly and evenly distribute the pigments into the resin.
Step 4: Pour the resin mixture into the heart silicone mold. Only pour into the heart frame outline. Fill this section all the way.
Step 5: Wait for the resin to cure.
Step 6: Prepare and mix a batch of resin as per manufacturer's instructions.
Step 7: To the resin add white glitter, cellophane flakes and a tiny amount of purple glitter.
Step 8: Mix well.
Step 9: Pour some of the glittery resin mixture into the heart silicone mold - just enough to cover the base for now.
Step 10: Embed the pearl hearts, seashell confetti and heart confetti into the resin layer.
Step 11: Pour more of the glittery resin mix until the mold is completely full.
Step 12: Wait for the resin to cure.
Step 13: To create the mermaid tears jar, add teal alcohol ink and glitter into some baby oil. Mix well.
Step 14: Pour the mix into a tiny glass cork jar.
Step 15: Dip the cork stopper into some resin and secure it to the bottle. The resin helps to secure the cork stopper in place.
Step 16: Add an eye screw and jump ring to the cork by screwing the eye screw at the top of the cork.
Step 17: Set the bottle aside and wait for the resin to cure.
Step 18: When the resin has fully cured, remove the heart from the silicone mold.
Step 19: Prepare and mix a batch of resin as per manufacturer's instructions.
Step 20: To the clear resin add lilac mica powder.
Step 21: Mix well, making sure to thoroughly and evenly distribute the mica powder into the resin.
Step 22: Pour the purple resin mix into the hollow middle section of the heart.
Step 23: Wait for the resin to cure.
Step 24: Prepare and mix a batch of resin as per manufacturer's instructions.
Step 25: Add cellophane flakes and white glitter to the clear resin and mix well.
Step 26: Pour a small amount of the glittery resin mix at the middle of the heart. To this poured resin add the gold embellishments along with some of the heart confetti. Using a stir stick, gently move the resin towards the edges creating a nice dome to the heart.
Step 27: Wait for the resin to cure. Avoid handling the heart before the resin has fully cured to avoid getting fingerprints or any other imperfections onto the domed layer.
Step 28: When the doming layer has fully cured, drill a hole at the top center of the heart.
Step 29: Add the eye screw to the drilled hole, and then attach the jump ring to the eye screw.
Step 30: Add the heart charm and mermaid tears bottle charm to the ball chain to finalise your key chain.
