For this project you will need the following craft supplies:

• epoxy resin
• coaster silicone mold
• mixing cups
• mixing sticks
• blue pearlescent resin pigment
• purple pearlescent resin pigment
• clover resin dye
• purple resin dye
• blue alcohol ink
• teal alcohol ink
• iridescent green fine glitter
• iridescent blue fine glitter
• iridescent purple fine glitter
• iridescent white cellophane flakes

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare and mix resin as per manufacturer's instructions.

Step 2: Divide the resin into 3 mixing cups.

Step 3: To one cup add blue pearlescent resin pigment, blue alcohol ink, iridescent blue glitter and iridescent white cellophane flakes.

Step 4: To another cup add clover resin dye, teal alcohol ink, iridescent green glitter and iridescent white cellophane flakes.

Step 5: To the third cup add purple pearlescent resin pigment, violet resin dye, iridescent purple glitter and iridescent white cellophane flakes.

Step 6: Mix each cup well. Make sure that the pigments are thoroughly and evenly distributed into the resin. 

Step 7: Pour the colored resin mixtures into the coaster silicone mold. Pour the purple resin mixture at one end, the green resin mixture at the other end, and the blue resin mixture in between. Fill the mold to the top.

Step 8: Wait for the resin to cure.

Step 9: When the resin has fully cured, de-mold the coaster from the silicone mold. Your mermaid colored resin coaster is complete.
